He father was assassinated when he was 14 and Robert talked at his mass. After his dad passed away Robert had problem with the law and at home. He was expelled from high school at 15. He was detained in 1983 for heroin possession. His brother David passed away in 1984 from a drug overdose. In 1982 Kennedy wed Emily Ruth Black and the couple had two children before divorcing in 1994. Three weeks after he married Mary Kathleen Richardson and the couple had four kids.
