Richard Roundtree Net Worth $2 Million Dollars

Richard Roundtree Net Worth: Richard Roundtree is an American celebrity and former fashion model who has a net worth of $2 million. Born on July 9, 1942 in New Rochelle, New York, US, Roundtree was notable leading man in early 1970s blaxploitation movies. A graduate from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, he turned into a handsome black lead as he gave unbelievable description of the sleek name character in the classic action film “Shaft” (1971). Even though not just a blaxploitation film itself, Shaft spawned a generation of them. Meanwhile, Richard has also took on few other leads and sometimes guest starred in a variety of endeavors including on an episode of the hit series Beverly Hills, 90210. In the post-Shaft period, there was a time when Roundtree’s career appeared to have ceased. It was all because Richard Roundtree underwent a double mastectomy and chemotherapy, after he was diagnosed with uncommon form of male breast cancer in 1993. Nevertheless, Roundtree managed to return to action in the second half the 90s with numerous movies and TV shows. In 1997, he was tapped to lead an ensemble cast, playing the lead in the Fox drama series “413 Hope Street” (1997). Richard could be also seen in the pictures George of the Jungle (1997) and Brick (2005), along with on such TV jobs as Y2K — World in Crisis (1999-2000) and Lincoln Heights (2006) among others.
