Jon Stevens Corzine net worth & biography:Jon Corzine net worth: Jon Corzine is a former governor of New Jersey and mainly financed his first two campaigns by selling off shares of Goldman Sachs that he received after leaving the firm in 1999. After he graduated in the University of Illinois in 1969 and earned an MBA in the University of Chicago in 1973, Corzine moved to Columbus, Ohio to pursue a career in banking. Two years after, he joined Goldman Sachs where he spent more than 20 years. Having began as a fixed income trader, Corzine was climbing quickly through the ranks. Shortly he served as chief financial officer, and eventually turned into a chairman, CEO and senior associate, from 1994 through 1999. Soon after his 1999 departure from Goldman Sachs, he was elected as a Usa Senator from New Jersey from 2001 to 2006. As a Senator, he was the initiator of numerous activities associated with enlarging the health care for kids, as we ll as one of just 23 Senators to vote against authorizing the Iraq War, among many other activities. Under his term, New Jersey became the first state to abolish the death penalty.
