Jerry Zucker Net Worth $20 Million Dollars

Jerry Zucker net worth: Jerry Zucker is an American film director that has a net worth of $20 million dollars. Produced March 11, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jerry Zucker is well known for his part in directing spoof films including the 1980 film Airplane! in addition to the spectacular film Ghost. Zucker’s early career began in the University of Wisconsin in Madison in a comedy troupe called Kentucky Fried Theater, comprised of Jim Abrahams and Jerry Zucker’s brother David Zucker. The trio went on to co-direct Airplane! (1980), Top Secret! (1984) and Ruthless People (1986). Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker (or ZAZ, as they coined it) collaborated on twenty movies between 1977 and 2008, including such films as An American Christmas Carol (a David Zucker film) and Jane Austin’s Mafia! (a Jim Abraham film). Zucker’s comedies happen to be critically acclaimed and rated on top of Entertainment Weekly’s list of finest comedy films. The American Film Institute (AFI) rated Airplane! as #10. The Zucker brothers had a penchant for giving their mother Charlotte Zucker (who perished in 2007) and their sister, Susan Breslau, modest parts in their films.

#Quote
1[Giving a commencement speech to students at the University of Wisconsin in 2003] Nobody else is paying as much attention to your failures as you are. You're the only ones who are obsessed with the importance of your own life. To everyone else, it's just a blip on the radar screen, so just move on.
2My problem is that I like technology, but I always have to ask myself, 'Now wait a minute, will I actually have any use for this?'
3The most frustrating thing is that I want to always buy the best thing, the thing that does the most stuff.
4People keep asking if I believe in ghosts. If you're talking about poltergeists and weird, supernatural phenomena, not really.
5My greatest thrill was the day Mad magazine spoofed 'Ghost.'
6But in terms of satire and comedy, our biggest and earliest influence was Mad magazine.
7All those zany comedies have instilled a sense of pace in me.
8It's Moore's Law, everything will be obsolete in 10 years - I'll be obsolete in 10 years!
9I love technology, and I love new gadgets. I can no longer figure out how to use any of them, but I love them.
