Janet Waldo Net Worth $15 Million Dollars

Janet Waldo Net Worth: Janet Waldo is an American celebrity who has a net worth of $15 million dollars. Produced in Yakima, Washington, in 1924, Janet Waldo is well-known for her voice work on radio, TV, and films. She started acting as a child and eventually studied theatre in the University of Washington before Paramount Pictures picked her up. Waldo got her start in small parts before starring in some of Western films. She got a part on “Lux Radio Theater” with Cecil B. DeMille, which started Waldo’s profession. She is well recalled for expressing Corliss Archer for eight years on “Meet Corliss Archer”, though she was not cast as the character in the film versions. Among Waldo’s best known parts is the fact that of the animated daughter Judy Jetson on “The Jetsons”. In 1990, Waldo was replaced by pop star Tiffany for the part of Judy Jetson, a move that generated major backlash from supporters. Waldo eventually returned to the TV animation following the film version with Tiffany flopped. She married her husband, Robert Edwin Lee, in 1948; they stayed together until his passing in 1994 and had two kids.

Voiced Joanne Allen on the popular family-oriented radio show "Adventures in Odyssey," produced by Focus on the Family. Joanne's husband, Jack, was voiced by 'Alan Young' of Mr. Ed fame, who was also her co-star on Battle of the Planets (1978). [January 2008]
In the spring of 2007 Janet spent several weeks in New York for the Broadway run of her late husband's play, "Inherit the Wind.".
As of 2009, she is the last surviving major cast member of The Jetsons (1962).
Won a special performing award while attending the University of Washington. The award was presented to her by former alumnus Bing Crosby
Her sister Elizabeth Waldo is a virtuoso violinist, composer, conductor, songwriter and producer.
Her father, a railroad executive, was a descendant of Ralph Waldo Emerson.
In one memorable 1952 "I Love Lucy" episode, Janet guest-starred as high-schooler Peggy Dawson who is absolutely ga-ga over the much more mature Ricky Ricardo, while her steady boyfriend Arthur Morton (played hysterically by Richard Crenna) makes counter moves on Lucy. The joke of it all was that the ever youthful-looking Janet was 28 years old at the time she played Peggy--only seven years younger than Desi Arnaz. Crenna was 26. Janet, who played "Katy, the Maid" in the 50th Anniversary Reunion Performance of "Lucy's First Sitcom," first appeared with Lucille Ball in one of the last episodes of Lucy's radio series "My Favorite Husband." That part led to her guest spot on "I Love Lucy.".
Recorded Jetsons: The Movie (1990) as the voice of Judy Jetson but was then replaced by Tiffany by studio executives to attract a younger crowd.
Has one son and one daughter
