Among the top property developers in america, Henry Ross Perot, Jr. is the Chairman of the Board of Perot Businesses, which manages the manifold Perot family business endeavors that include real estate, petroleum and gas and monetary investments. Produced November 7, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to an equally successful dad, Ross Perot, he was just a kid when he observed how the American dream unfolds in his family room. Once he finished his stint in the Air Force, Perot, Jr. began to purchase property north of Fort Worth, Texas. Finally, he got 18,000 acres and constructed a pioneering “inland port” called AllianceTexas. But fortunately for Perot that wasn’t all as drillers found the giant Barnett Shale natural gas field right under his property. Since, he’s sold off all the natural gas reserves for $700 million and a lot of the Alliance buildings for over $800 million. Now, he’s plans to construct some 30 million square feet in Fort Worth also to perform other important building jobs in California, Florida and Pennsylvania. Also, he’s planning to develop a giant oilfield in the Kurdish area of Iraq through his oil company HKN Energy. Regardless of placing his money in operation, Henry in addition has unified together with his four sisters in the contribution of $50 million towards the building of Dallas’ new Perot Museum of Nature & Science.
