Hal Needham net worth: He trained to act as a stuntman, with renowned stuntman and choreographer, Chuck Roberson, who was John Wayne’s long time stuntman. He first got notice working as Richard Boone’s stunt double on “Have Gun, Will Travel”. He served as a stuntman to an extensive array of leading stars on multiple jobs through the 60s. He became the frequent stunt double for both Clint Eastwood and Burt Reynolds, and then started directing action sequences, and then second units. He started his own production firm, Stunts Unlimited, in the early 70s, as well as the firm scored a success instantly, when they produced a movie Hal Needham wrote, called “Smokey and the Bandit”. He received the Governors Award in the year 2012. He passed away in 2013.
