David and Frederick Barclay net worth & biography:
David and Frederick Barclay are British entrepreneurs that have a net worth of $3.9 billion. The two hold company interest in media, real estate and retail, and they’ve developed a reputation as reclusive for preventing marketing. Few years after the passing of the father, the Barclay Brothers left school to work in the accounts section at the General Electric Company in 1950. Meanwhile, David was serving as a manager of Hillgate Estate Agents, and in 1968, his twin joined the Board. The couple was restoring old boarding houses in London, and remade them into resorts. In 1975, they purchased their first resort, the Howard Hotel, and since that time, the identical twins built up shares in various companies. The Barclay’s conglomerate is growing bigger and larger, including firms like Ellerman Lines, a shipping company, Littlewoods, a retail firm, Yodel, a delivery firm, and in the media business, they possess The European, The Scotsman, Sunday Business and the entire Telegraph Media Group. Additionally, they were accused of tax avoidance, by setting property under possession of businesses which are filed abroad and commanded through trust funds.
